Courageous Journey to Afghanistan

On September 6, 2008, the Yerevan American Corner opened its fall 2008 movie program with the screening of a new film by Beth Murphy entitled “Beyond Belief.” Twenty members of the movie club enjoyed this remarkable story, which features two American women who lost their husbands on September 11, 2001, and follows them as they establish humanitarian programs for war widows in Afghanistan. Joanne Munisteri, English Language Fellow at Yerevan Medical University, led the after-movie discussion.
