An engaging lecture was held at the American Corner in Yerevan on July 13, 2009. A team of young enthusiasts spoke on the vision of Armenia's future. Representatives of the Leadership School gave information about the activities and programs of the Leadership School Foundation. In the five years that the foundation has been active, it has implemented educational projects for at-risk children including the building of orphanages and schools for the disabled, and providing aid to disadvantaged families. All of this has been possible only with the foundation’s team of more than 60, mostly student, volunteers that serve for one semester at a time, and with the help of numerous understanding and caring people and organizations.

“We strongly believe that through diversified education, the study of unique work experiences, and interesting practical projects, we can contribute to the development of strong young leaders,” stressed Samvel Movsisyan, one of the presenters and a member of the Leadership School Foundation.
Additionally, Samvel Movsisyan acquainted the attendees with the main aspects of the study such as self-awareness and individual development (i.e. oral, written, non-verbal [body language] communications), basic leadership skills, team work, advanced topics (i.e. relationships with the media, change management), and so on.

Students actively participated throughout the presentation.
