English Course for Beginners

On November 5, 2009, the Yerevan American Corner organized the selection of participants for a free beginning-level English course. Eleven students were chosen from Yerevan State University, the State Engineering University, and Yerevan State Conservatory.
The first lesson was held on November 10, during which participants met English instructor and volunteer Nune Poghosyan, a graduate of Yerevan Interlingua Linguistic University. The class focused on basic English grammar and speaking exercises. Classes will be held on a biweekly basis until December 29. Each lesson lasts 90 minutes.
