Master’s Level and Ph.D. Programs at the Central European University
1:00pm 12.12.2009
On December 12, 2009, within the framework of the “Armenians at American Corner,” lecture series, the Yerevan American Corner hosted United Nations Population Fund National Program Officer Ms. Aida Ghazaryan.
The presenter delivered an informative presentation about the Central European University, it’s departments, and application procedures. Using a power point presentation, Ms. Ghazaryan discussed the CEU experience and noted important facts for future applicants. Being a CEU alumna herself, she invited other alumni of CEU Economics, Public Policy, and Human Rights Departments to participate in the discussions.
The auditorium was full and included the participation of approximately 60 students and alumni of many Armenian universities, who were enthusiastically interested in studying at the CEU, especially in the master’s degree programs. After the lecture, they asked numerous questions about the CEU application, necessary qualifications, and about different departments.
In addition to learning about CEU, many new patrons were introduced to the American Corner and its services.
